I'll Worship You Instead
I wanted to share something I wrote a few weeks ago with all of you. I wrote this during a time when I was really reflecting on how we can worship God while in the middle of hard things. Because sometimes, words fall so short for me, and all I can do is open up my hands to God in surrender. There is a beauty in “silent” worship that I have encountered God in, and He’s shown me that it’s okay not to have the words or the voice to raise in praise. The posture of my heart communicates more loudly than my voice ever could. I hope this encourages you in whatever season you are in. Whether on the mountaintop or deep in the valley, God is still God. And for that reason, we can still worship Him for who He is--with open hands or lifted voice.
